Discover The Premier Approach To Stroke Rehabilitation

Stroke Rehabilitation: The Premier Approach...

At Premier Physical Therapy, we specialize in treating stroke patients. Whether you have mild impairments, such as weakness on one side of your body, or more severe challenges like being unable to walk or hold your head up, we are here to help. Some patients may be wheelchair-bound, using a walker, or relying on a cane, which significantly impacts their quality of life.

Our goal is to help you regain your independence and reduce reliance on assistive devices. If you want to transition from a walker to a cane, or from a cane to walking independently, we can assist with that.

We start with a thorough evaluation to assess your specific impairments, which could include weakness, numbness, or tightness on one side of your body. Based on this evaluation, we develop a personalized treatment plan that will involve addressing weakness, improving posture, and focusing on strengthening the affected side of your body.

We utilize advanced technology, such as NeuFit stimulation, which enhances neural output and effectively stimulates your muscles. This cutting-edge modality acts like a “defibrillator” for your muscles, helping to activate and strengthen them. This technology is relatively new and not widely available, but it has shown promising results in helping patients regain function.

Our goal is to help you progress from using a cane to walking independently. With the support of our specialized techniques and equipment, we believe you can achieve greater mobility and improve your quality of life.
